Muzzleloader is the first Saturday of November.
Big gun is the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Thanks guys! I was kinda dissapointed cuz i couldnt go on the 29th but on the 22nd expect me in the woods with my shwakkers!

That's a late opener for MZ in my area (miss the "cruising" phase of the rut).
If I am not mistaken, these years will have 12 days of bow only between juvenile and MZer opener (with a weekend included), instead of 5 week days like this year, and most other years. Basically you just take the 5th weekend of bow and put it after juvenile, instead of before as it falls in most years, like this year. I would think this would make the bow only guys happier as the time of the year (first week of Nov) will typically produce more activity, possibly chasing and such.BSK said:
