It seems like the writer is throwing a tantrum of his own. The last rankings looked off to me because 2-4 all lost and didn't fall. Maybe that's a playoff agreement. TCU getting beat like that should have them dropping several spots.
I thought OSU should have been 2 after almost beating Georgia but nobody asked me.

Whatever fire Saban has left in the tank we'll see through the off season and next season and I think he's got plenty left.

The gumps were number 1 in 2021 and have been in the top 5 for probably 10 yrs in recruiting but they still couldn't beat the poor ol VOLS this year. Cruitin is great but it don't always equal a Natty, ask your hero Jumbo. The bammers will be holding signs in Alabammy for Nicky soon like they are for Calamari now in Kentucky .
