Over or Under: 128" (New pic added)

Re: Over or Under: 128"

If he is a 10 like I think, he will be right around 128-130". My buddy killed a 16" wide basket rack 10 point several years back that just did not have that WOW factor when you looked at him, but he ended up grossing 133" to our surprise, all because he was a mainframe 10 point. Good buck, best of luck with him this fall.

Re: Over or Under: 128"

If he is a 10 pointer like Andy said he'll probably be closer to 130".

Sometimes the size of the buck relative to his antlers will fool you. Your buck has the body size and the rack still looks good. I shot a buck a few years ago that scored 125". I could have swore he was a 130" buck. He had good mass and decent tines but the rack looked much heavier on his abnormally small frame. The tail end of the season 2 years ago on my last hunt of the year I let another buck go that I thought would surely score 130". Heavy rack with good tines but he was another super small framed buck. I was afraid he'd fool me like the other one.

Re: Over or Under: 128"

He's a clean 10 with 4-5" g4s. Mass is not overly impressive and tine length (other than the g4s) is average. Zoom in and you should be able to see all of his tines pretty clearly.

Re: Over or Under: 128"

He's definitely a 10. Nothing that is spectacular except his beam length is really good but he has pretty much everything he needs to be over 128. I'm gonna guess low 130's depending on mass he could be a little more. Good luck!

Good Luck

Got bigger G-3s than G-2s I'd say you close enough

That's a really common trait on this farm. Most every 10 pt we see has longer g3s and relatively short brows.

You'll have to put a tape measure on it...but it does look like its up there. Good looking deer

Re: Over or Under: 128"

A 16" spread is a "Basket Rack"???? I don't have a chance of ever shooting a good buck then around my farm. A 16" spread there is a monster. Not sure I've ever gotten a photo of one that wide........
