Overtime Rules in Pro Football

I was pulling for Kansas City against the Patriots and was glad to see them score in time to force an overtime. I really hate the rule if a team scores on their first possession they win. Somehow that just doesn't seem fair to me since the other team never gets the opportunity at scoring. It's like that coin toss at the beginning of the overtime can determine who wins the game.

That only applies on TDs. Defending team gets a chance if they hold the to a field goal.

It's better than the old way where a field goal could win it but I see your point.

But play some D and get a stop. KC had chances to do that.

they had their chance to stop them from a TD and hold them to a FG

I do agree I wish if one team scores a TD first that the other would have a shot for a TD. Had that happened last night I think it would've went on for 2 or 3 more possessions. Glad it didn't turn out like that because I'm a huge Brady fan and glad to see it ended with a W.
