What all would I have to do and can I still use the Bigfoot Trail Master board I got for it now? Also, I wouldn't want to rig it up to do true color day and ir at night. Ir all the time would be fine on this one.

Just a simple glass scrape. You will need a slave flash with it no doubt. Let me know if I can help. I got a RCDAVIS slave board you can have. It was one of the prototype boards. Works fine.

So I need a slave flash not something that lights up like the array for my video build. I don't even know where to get a flash at. Is the board you are talking about like a board to control the flash?

Yep. It sees the cameras weak flash go off and it triggers the slave to fire. Go onto ebay and get you a Vivitar 2800 flash. Should find one cheaper then $30. Then we will go from there.

Maybe one Saturday you can drive down to my shop and I will hack the camera and wire the slave for you. FREE of course!!!
Something mentioned that struck my curiousity...
If you scrape the internal lens, and create an IR camera..how can you have true color day pics?

From a thread I saw online, I think you do it somehow like when you put an exchanger and replace the lens in the video builds. I really don't know and am not 100% percent sure you can do it. I just skimmed the thread but bookmarked it to check out later. Will the cam have to be hacked in anyway other that it normally would have to be, except for the lens scrape? If not, I should have it ready to go. This is the camera I used for my first ever build. It was a successful build as far as working. It just didn't look to good where it was my first one. I was just going to put it in another box and pretty it up. However, I wasn't crazy about the flash distance and thought about trying this.

I am thinking now about just putting a flash enhancer on it and letting it do what it will do. I really don't want to put to much time or effort in this one. Maybe if I do another one from scratch or something down the road.

I will send you a piece to scrape if you want to try it,But the flash enhancer would be my route,
The way to scrape it is to take dish washing liquid and an exacto knife,and a lot of elbow grease.
They are very simple to do ,Get on you tube Judger has a good video of a P52 scrape.
Get a seahorse 120 and some externals,I guarantee you it will not leak.
You need any info on the snorkel or anything just PM me,I think I still remember the size of the end cap and hole I drilled.
