Yeah I dont really get caught up in numbers game with the circle and all but just thought I would shoot one out of curiosity and to make sure scope was on..Proof is in the pudding and know what it will do and how far it will do it.....

Looks like 50 would be pushing it... IMHO. From the pic posted, I only see 4 lethal hits in the spine and maybe 1 in the skull.
yes it is 3.5" as far as what it would do at 40yds in a 10" circle I would guess double the number of pellets or at least something close to that.

I'm sure there are more shot holes in the colored part of the target... just can't see them in the pic... You know your gun better than me.... 
Just curious how many hits did it put into the turkeys head? I was shooting my dads gun the other day and I had 5 hits at 50 yards. I told him I wouldnt push it past 40.
