Bought a box of Mag Blends yesterday at gander mountain...
Gave me a rebate card is the only real reason I bought em...

I was gonna see how they shot today but didnt want to the weather to make a whole lot of difference???

1. Will weather effect it that much its 40 degrees here today?
2. Should I clean my barrel before I shoot em from last shots?

If they shoot good fine if not O well I wanted to try em
They are expensive but atleast there not Nitros!

Most over on old gobbler will say that temp will affect your pattern numbers, the warmer the better. I don't have much experience with it myself so I can't give you any personal info on it. There is a guy over there that recommends a "deep cleaning" of your barrel before patterning to get your best pattern. I did it and man my barrel is shiny inside! I thought it was fairly clean before but this method really cleaned it well.

The temp will affect it. They tend to shoot better in the 65-75 degree range but go ahead and shoot it man. I personally run a bore snake between each shot. It does seem to help. Mag Blends are a fine load. You will be happy.

i love the mag blends in my 835 with 670 pg choke, your gun will put up higher numbers when its warmer but how warm is it at 7 in the morning opening weekend? i pattern my gun during cooler temps because i know the count will only go up in warmer weather, if it does good at 40 degrees it will be good to go from beginning to end of season

I talked to the Heavy Shot pro staff member yesterday and told him I was gonna try to shoot em but my buddy said they don't shoot good through my comp n choke-He said that don't mean it won't shoot good through yours-TO TRUE Sold me a box brotha! :D
