man not really happy with the POA but there was a good 10mph right to left wind....i shoot a bead so there is not adjusting to be done. i also didnt really clean the barrel inbetween shots. overall not really upset with it but man the POA has me a tad worried and I am not looking to go to a red dot or a scope this close to season. some could have been me and some the wind but either way to SUPER confident at this point. i was shooting a lead sled but I have a pistol grip stock so i had to crank it as high as it would go so the stock didnt hit the bar on the led sled so it was a tad wobbly.

that sucks on the win.I just ordered some and sure hope the pattern is way better.

3" shells

I agree Muddy it really sucks that far left at 40yds! I guess i am going to have to find an adjustable bead type sight, i just dont think i can take that into the woods that far left. I know the wind had a part in that but to be that left each time it is definitly shooting left.

Nice patterns but yeah id have to put an adjustable sight on there and get it centered but I'm kind of OCD about things like that.

I had to buy some adjustable sights because the ones on my gun wouldn't adjust enough. I got a set of Truglo Tru-Bead sights off ebay for under $20. I like them and you get windage and elevation and they seem to be made out of strong metal.

Unless you get adjustable sights, I'd use the Winchesters in that set-up. Note how they produced a larger, but very uniform pattern. Particularly note how the Winchesters put more pellets on your target to the right and upper right of your aiming point.

i am shopping for some adjustable sights today. Issue with them on a stoeger is the front barrel end of the rib has a solid rib for about 3" so getting a front bead on there will need to go pretty far back.

i am going to put my factory choke back in and shoot it at 10-15yds and see if the choke could be causing any of the issue as it is a new IC choke.

good call
thats what I would do too
I wonder if it Could have something to do with the lead sled?

I would try a shot without the use of the lead sled JMO

well i shot it again today off a bench rest and it was still left even at 12 yds with bird shot. I got some adjustable sites and put them on and zero'd it in at 20yds with that. I didnt have any turkey loads so i will have to shoot YET AGAIN to make sure. However i do feel better that i have atleast fixed the left and right issue!
