Personally I think Durkin should never be allowed back around football.
 
Saban wins National Championships and does not seem to care what the media , you or anyone seems to think about how he should be running his football program at ALABAMA.

The man is being hired as a Analyst for the time being. That's all.
 
Here is Saban's full statement:

"DJ Durkin is spending a few days with our staff in Tuscaloosa from a professional development standpoint. He has not been hired in any capacity at The University of Alabama. He is simply observing our operation as many other coaches have done through the years."

Obviously he doesn't care what parents think also.

You will never admit it but if Saban coached at a different school and did the things he did, I'm sure say different :tu:
 
Rational people can not be a fan or a school/team but still respect great coaching of a dynastic program. I'm not a NFL fan at all but I respect what Bill Belechick is doing. Spurrier was a jack-butt but his coaching impressed me. I think Urban is a horrible human and excuses bad (even criminal)behavior from players but he's a great coach. Pat Summit at TN was one of the best coaches of all times. I'm not a fan of TN girls basketball. Great leaders come in all shapes and sizes. Many of them are not necessarily great people, but great leaders.

I've never met Saban but hear he's a likable guy in person.
