I have a PSE Madness XS that I had the string replaced this past summer, as the season went on the peep(G5 Meta) keep turning and turning and is now to the point that I cant twist it back to shoot. Any suggestions or help?

Its a pain in the butt but you can move the loop around to offset the peep rotation but that is a short term fix. Is the new string served around the wheel?

A new bow string will "set in" when you first put it on the bow. This is a common issue and an easy fix. I personally do not want to move my loop at all. That is where I anchor to, also, I don't want it to be loose. Take it somewhere that has a press and have them turn the peep to fit your draw. That is the only way I do mine when I put a new string on.

Just another suggestion that has worked for me.

When I get a new bow or new string, I shoot it 100-150 times before installing the peep.

This is a good time to work on blind bale practice at close range.

After 100-150 shots I install the peep. Any large peep rotation will be shot out of the string.

Any good string today only needs 10 shots for shoot in and then final adjustments should be made and the peep shouldn't move from there on a good string.

^^^^^^^^this

To the original poster, sounds like the string was not stretched enough before installing the peep, or a serving issue on the string itself.

X2. If youl put u a winners choice on you wont have to worry bout string stretch. U dont need to keep twisting it cause your anchor point should be the same everytime. By twisting, it wudnt be the same. Lifetime garuntee on winners choice. If it stretches they send u another.

I have come to realize that they tied my peep sight in the day the string was installed, so this is more than likely the issue. Thanks for your guys help.
