Peep sight issue

I have a peep sight that keeps on turning on me. Sometimes I pull back and the thing is aligned right (or good enough) but sometimes, the thing is almost completely sideways. My string is about 2 years old and in good shape. Not sure whats happening.

Do any of you use the peep sight that has the rubber tube? The purpose of that tube is to straighten the peep out right?

It is but I hate the stuff. Your string has probably stretched and may need some twists in it to straighted the peep out. Also if you use a d-loop you can move it to where its inline with the peep and that will help to some degree.

If it is a peep that is made to use with the tubing then yes you probably gonna need it.

No, my peep is split between the string with no tubing.. Its not made for it.

My string keeps on twisting and the peep doesnt seem to line up right now. I was thinking about going to the peep with the rubber tube just to alleviate this problem all together.

A couple string twist will put you in the place you need to be.
