Peep site doesnt turn over?

Could someone tell me how to fix my peep site so it will turn when I pull the string back. It just stopped one day and im new to bow hunting and not sure how to fix it. Thanks

Your elastic tube broke.

It doesnt have one on there. When my fatherinlaw had it he took it off and the site still worked.

How old is the string? Could be stretched out.

I know it hasnt been shot muchin the past 7yrs. Its basically brand new. He only used it one year then had heart attack and never done it anymore. So I talked him into letting my have it this year. So I dont think it should be stretched out.

A lot of times this is due to string stretch...especially true with new factory strings. A pro shop can help, but w/o an aftermarket served under tention string, I advise going with one with the rubber tubing. Much less headache, much more shooting if you dont know how to fix it or have the quality string.

If the peep as moved up or down the string this will cause the problem you are having.

I would say string stretch is most likely the culprit.

put a sure peep and be done with the tubing.

You will have to put it on a press and have the string twisted back .
