I shoot with a Cobra Pendulum Bowsight. I have recently changed to carbon arrows. I also took the leaches off of my string and went with a string suppressor. My bow seems to be alot faster.
Is there a need for a pendulum? I am sure this question has been asked before.
I am just curious of other folks opinions. I have always shot with a pendulum so I am a little afraid of change.

I have never understood the point of a pendulum sight. Looks like there would be too much room for side to side movement.
That was my experience with them when I tried one years ago . It had just enough side to side movement that it rattled at the shoot .

I have killed a few deer with a pendulum. I have always been a little more confident with it. It does make a little more noise. It seems that since I have quietened the string noise down, I can hear the sight rattle a bit.
Maybe I am just bored and looking for things to pick on. Yeah, thats it BORED!

Back in the day, I used Keller pendulum sights. I didn't mind them at the time. Then I shot some fiber optic sights. Never looked back.

As far as the noise.. They did clink when I would shoot.
