The fans have a vote going to see how many like the idea of joining the ACC,78% so far.I always despised Paterno, long before the Sandusky revelations came about. He was always a nasty, rude, arrogant, self righteous SOB and their fans are mostly the same. That said it would be a great addition but I doubt it ever happens.

I think it would be good for the conference.
Penn states new coach is an arrogant, rude, self righteous sob. He is one heck of a football coach though. He sure got the most out of his players at vanderbilt. It was pretty cool to see such a weak fan base and team gain so much momentum in such a short time. Great motivator! He WILL have penn state playing in big games soon.

Didn't realize it at the time but the fan and coach description sounds like another Big10 team we hear about all the time on this forum. :tu: :stir: :stir: arty: arty: Hmmmm.

As a kid Penn State was kind of my #2 team. I liked how they lined up and basically said we're running it in this gap so stop us if you can. I liked Joe Pa and the fact no player names were in the jerseys. No hit dogging and all the bs we see today. Probably be a good move for them to join the ACC.
