Im looking to go out to Percy Priest Unit II this weekend. From everything I've found on TN.gov, Unit 1 can't be hunted on the weekends but Unit II can be hunted. But then I got confused because it states at the top of the page that "Seasonality: year-round, however, the WMA is CLOSED to the public every Fri-Sun from September 1 through April 3 for dog field trials." Could someone more experienced with this WMA provide some feedback? I reached out to Mark Vance the manager but haven't heard back and want to make sure I'm legally hunting the right area. Appreciate any help!

The weekend closures only apply to Unit I due to field trials being held in that area some weekends.

I hunt both (as do tons of other people), and unit 1 is closed fri-sun for field trials. FYI, don't be surprised if you see people running dogs in both units while you hunt (more 1 than 2)
