Went in to a new property this morning and set up where I thought would be a good spot. . Set up a hen and a broke up strutter decoy( what us not so good hunters use). Before I got set down had a gobbler hammering at 50 yds. Called 1 time with a couple purrs and clucks. 6:05 hen hits the field roughing up my hen decoy, not 30 seconds later a Tom hits the ground nearly on top of my strutter decoy. 6:15 I am loaded up headed home. 9 inch beard and 7/8 spurrs. Didn't think that was too bad not to even miss breakfast with the kids by the way the flight control wad off the the federal flight controls hit the bird also.
