Vols finished 5-6 in 2005. 9-4 in 2006.
Not sure bringing in someone that was past their prime and has been out of touch for so long is going to help them. But if it makes you feel good. By all means.

Unless it involves the assassination of Nick Saban I wouldn't get my hopes very high.

From a silver lining and the grass is greener this post is probably hitting the nail on the head. Alot of Alumni and old school supporters who were around during those years will be less hesitant to show their financial support to the team. I feel sure with last years showing and the cloud looming over Butch and the team that Alumni support has been dwindling. This is probably a boost in that direction.gator-n-buck":37t5ysv2 said:hillbillyfab":37t5ysv2 said:If anything he'll help out in the booster department. Yep, show me the money. Boosters will respond better to Phill than some dean over the art dept. begging for money.

Pretty sure that TN Lead was hinting at the Bammers crying about Phil supposedly ratting them out for cheating back in the day.
Dont worry Doughboy, im sure Phil realizes that it wont do any good to rat out the Bammers this time because Saban got everybody in his pocket.
He owns the Osh Kosh company as well... :tu:TeamMainStreet":fhl5gb04 said:Didnt realize the pockets on Osh Kosh pants were that deep. :tu:
