Picked up a 2013 Bowtech Assassin about a week ago got it sighted in out to 25 yards, seems to shoot pretty flat. I posted back in Dec. and asked for advice on a new bow, limb poundage etc,. Would like to thank those who responded. Would also like to ask how many of you only use one pin on your sight. Where I'm going to be hunting (thick hardwoods) seems like 25-30 yards should be enough distance and would keep things simple.

I strayed away from 1 pin because it's more movement and i could have a shot from 5 - 60 yards. But if you think you will only have a 20 - 30 yard shot you could just have a one or two pin.

I use one-pin for 3d and targets, for hunting application I use a 4-pin sight because just as likely to have one step out at 15yds as I am to have one step out at 35-40ydsI don't want the additional movemnent to adjust a pin setting or have to think that much about how much to hold over to compensate for the arrow drop.

Alot of people use single pin for hunting, and are successful with it, but it isn't for me.

1st pin set for 25 2nd set for 40 just hold a hair high or low according to situation. works great for me not so much for the deer though
