...for a pretty good deal I think. Can't wait to shoot it. Anyone shoot this bow? I've read nothing but good reviews so far.

Down sized to 60# limbs on this one. Figured it may be easier to draw on those cold mornings when I've got every garment of clothing I own on myself!

I really like mine. Normally get an itch every few years to buy a new bow, nothing so far..... very satisfied with my Switch Back.

Great! Hopefully I will enjoy it as much as yall do.

Thinking about going back to the whisker biscuit as well just to keep it simple. Have yall had to add much vibration dampening stuff or is it pretty much shock/vibration free? I'd like to keep it as simple as I can without alot of gadgets that add weight.

i had one from the year they came out till December this year. wont have to add too much to quieten it but a sts system will help a lot

Why you get rid of it?

I had one when they first came out too. The original Switchback have bad reputations for having extreme cam lean. It can be fixed but it does require some TLC and a lot of time tweaking in the bow press to correct it.

They seemed to have remedied the problem when they released the Switchback XT....which if you do a forum poll on the archery sites of which is the best bow Mathews has ever made, it will almost always be the Switchback XT. Recently there has been a big coming on of the MR series bows though, but you can bet it will always be a close call between those two bows.

mainly no good reason other than one of my friends started to hunt this year. ive owned quite a few bows over the years, and that was always my "go to" bow. im actually in the market now, and since i cant seem to find a elite or strohers dealer near by im deciding between a z7extreme and a pse evo 7, and i also really like the pse revenge

Switchbacker -- If you are willing to take a little drive to Cleveland, TN you can shoot all three bows in one shop. There is a new place down there that carries Elite, Strother, and PSE. They also carry the Prime bows.

He only has 3 Elites in shop right now....he has the Answer, Pulse, and Hunter.

And he has two Strother bows right now, the Wrath and Rush, with a Moxie on the way.

PSE he has the Evo 6, Evo 7, Vendetta, Revenge, and has a Omen Pro and Freak on the way.

Sneaky Outdoors is the name, off Hwy 60.
