Picked up the old Evinrude

Just got it picked up and set on the back of my 1448 Griz. Now the fun starts to get it up and running like it should.

I have been looking at the all welded grizzly boats.how do you like them,any pros or cons.

Great boat IMO....no leaks to ever worry about if you pop a rivet because there are none. Deep sides that can take some rough water. I had a 20 hp Merc on it at one time and it pushed it good.

From what I have seen around 20 mph

I have a 1962 evinrude, 18 hp, it pushed a 12' jonboat 21 mph.

I had one of those years ago. One of my first boat motors. I bought it from the original owner with a V hull. Later put it on a Tracker 1448 riveted jon boat. Used it for around 10 years. It never missed a beat!
