A Tasco brand 5mp trail camera yesterday. Heck, for ther money this thing is a pretty handy little unit. It packs all the features of the more expensive stuff into a wallet sized device that only set me back 80 bucks. I am pretty happy so far, the nighttime photo shots are a little blurry but ther video works fine. I have a 4gb card in it right now. and if i just leave it on video, I should have two years worth of 15 second clips on it. It gets a thumbs up in my book for bang for the buck.
 
Those "cheaper" cameras are great short term. From my experiences, you might (and thats a BIG might) get a year out of them. Nonetheless, I hope it works great for you and for a long period of time. Good luck
 
It is an off brand I know, I was just hopin to cut down on scout time in public land hunting. I get one day a week to hunt, so I have to be on top of my game when it comes to finding areas. this thing can be my "forward observer" if you will for determining whats going on in the woods.
 
I'm into my 4th year with a Moultrie D40.$59 camera from BPS.Works great.Got 2 D50 Moultries also $59 from BPS this year.One has several thousand pics,one maybe 500 pics.Both work great and i like the night time color pics.

I'll stick with the cheaper ones.
 
LOL all I have right now are some test shots from the backyard. I am going to put it out this wwekend.

crap....wrote that wrong lol.....that goes in the NOT LIKE PILE!
 
I really can't complain though.Its forty bucks cheaper than the other kinds in this size catagory. Its my first trail cam, next year I am hoping to get a Cadillac one of sorts, this is just a good entry level night vision camera really. It fits the bill for what I need it for.
 
Had it out all night, went to check it out, and the LCD screed did nothing. After messin with it a little while she came back to life. It took some videos of moths last night. It seems like really cold, or really hot tempertures mess with it. I thought it was broken for a minute........
