Ive had plenty of pics this year but these are the only 2 shooters ive got on cam. The wide deer we started seeing in 09, not really for sure but he was either a 2 or 3 yr old then. Which makes him 5 or 6 now. He has always been just a 7pt until this year. From a few other pics i can count 12pts on him. 8 on his right and 4 on his left. I told myself after season last yr i was going to take him this yr just because hes a mature deer. We've had probably 15 encounters where we could have killed him since 09 but never did. Hopefully this year ill get a shot at him
The other buck is a great potential 3 yr old. I got pics of him last yr as about a 125" 9pt and now i say hes pushing 140's as a 10pt. he has a kicker off his left g2 to make the 10th pt. I would like to say ill pass him up but ill have to see when hes out of velvet.
Whats yalls take on the age of the wide one? He wont score good but hes definately a mature buck and is a fighter. Every year we see him hes always busted up come the rut.
