Who you got? I think the 4 in are:

Alabama
Clemson
Texas A&M
Ohio State

A&Ms only loss is to Alabama and that's when they had one of the best players in the country on the field. I'd love to see Ohio State not make it but I just don't think it'll happen.

Agree with everything stated.

Any of the other 3 would throttle OSU

Is your question who we individually think should be in the top 4, who we think the Committee will place in the top 4, or what the corporate media complex (Disney/ABC/ESPN) that's in charge wants in the top 4? I believe the Committee will choose:

1-Alabama
2- Clemson
3- Ohio State
4- Notre Dame

A&M should be in over Notre Dane. ND will get murdered (again).
I agree. I think in terms of match ups for the best semi-final games I would have liked TAM #3 and OSU #4.

I've never been a proponent for an 8 team playoff. In most years, there are at most 5-6 worthy teams. Last year I thought there were only 3 and this year maybe only 3 or maybe just 2. Play the first game on campus. Cincy at Bama, Gators at Clemson, OU at OSU, TAM at ND. Those would be some great games. I think the Bearcats would give Bama a better game than ND is going to.

I really only think that Bama and Clemson deserve to be in.
-tOSU barely played, against poor competition, and had their league change rules for them to be in the chumpionship game;
-ND got blown out in their championship game;
-TAM is not really all that impressive, despite only one blowout loss;
-UF had three losses (one of them to a down LSU team);
-OU... did anyone watch the first part of the season?;
-Iowa, really?;
-Cincinnati almost has an argument, but only if SOS doesn't count;
-UGA has had a roller coaster season, with two blowout losses in the middle of the season (injuries contributed, but them's the breaks)

I could go on and on. 2020 was crazy for lots of reasons, and not having regular spring or preseason camps, coupled with opt-outs, late starts, and COVID roster depletions only made it worse. The committee had to choose someone, so they went with history, tradition, and revenue, not even trying to hide it. The best two teams have legitimate shots at advancing to the title game, and I hope that they do. I'll be pulling for an ACC team this time, for sure
