I purchased a new 20 gauge and it hits high and to the left with every choke tube I have. Throws a great pattern but just 8 inches high and left. Any suggestions? The gun is not drilled or tapped. I was shooting off a rest and very still. Thank You!

Its a Tri star raptor youth. Gun has cycled every shell I have shot through it low brass, high whatever. It just shoots high and left. I hate that as again I was very pleased with performance just need to figure this out. If it was just high I could simply aim a little lower but shooting to the left also puts a man in a bind when a big Tom walks up! I have the beard buster sights on my two other 20 gauge set ups, I think they allow for some adjustment, I just wanted to see if you guys had any other thoughts. I appreciate your help! I have already called Tri star and they said I could send it back and they would take a look but did not know if it was necessary or would help.

You might be able to use some padding or a buttplate adjustment so that you mount the gun with the best sight orientation. My Mossberg shot off and high too and after I added a red dot it's perfect. The issue is that not everyone has the same face or distance from their face to their eye. It's likely not the gun but the fit.

Good point fairchaser, The pattern was consistent each time and very even. If I can figure it out and get the pattern going where I am aiming it will be Hard on the Toms!

Do you have any suggestions prstide on a brand of adjustable sights. Thanks

You can adjust the beardbuster sights, not as much as others but they can be adjusted by moving the rear sight left and right and moving it up and down the rib.

Thanks for all the advice! I am going to try adjustable sights first and if that does not satisfy, sun optics makes a rail part # sm 7015 that they say will fit and no need to drill and tap. The gun has grooves on the top of the receiver and the part should work great to mount a scope!

Adjustable sights worked! Gun is ready to hunt and shoots a great pattern. Thanks again!

Tru glo Tru bead turkey universal sights. Easy to install and a quick fix for around 20 bucks!
