I have been kicking the idea around and was wondering if anyone has made/used a target out of the high density closed cell polyurethane foam 2-part mix? I'm pretty sure it is the same stuff the blob and other targets are made out of, but just wanting some input from others. It is somewhat expensive, but alot cheaper than what some are asking for the targets and shipping.

Guy here local sales em for $100 Andy they are about the size of half of a truck bed and we have had ours for 4-5 years now I think still not shooting through it ;)

How can I get a hold of this guy? I would love to have a target that lasts that long!

To buy enough ingredients to make a blob will cost over $200 from what I have been told and mixing it and getting it right will be tough. There are bad blobs, and some people try to sell them. The only thing I know of to judge by, is 24" x 24" x 10-12" deep blob should weigh 100 lbs if not more. A 90 to 100 lb target would probably be okay, but any lighter and they will not hold up, the lighter targets are not dense enough. There is a quality control that the targets I get go through.
