Pond bass

When I moved in to my apt almost 4 years ago I couldn't catch anything but bluegill in the pond. A little effort and a few years later and I got some healthy largemouth, catfish and even a few crappie. They are getting fat on those bluegills. Walked around the pond for about 30 mins yesterday and caught these two females

Nice! I caught a few from a farm pond last weekend. Was planning on fishing Nice Mill Dam but of course it was flooded, so my buds said that they knew of a couple farm ponds we could hit up. I said "Ive drove 2.5hrs to fish, lets go" We ended up with about 15 in the 1-3 lb range.

It's hard to beat a good pond for just plain fun fishing and keeping it simple. Nice fish!

Love a good bass pond! I've caught bookoos of bass out of them. I got access to one that was full of 10+ pounders only to have the owner get caught in some kind of financial fraud and end up going to jail. The place got locked up after my first trip there and I lost it as fast as I got it.
