This afternoon I happened to look out my bathroom window and saw a hen and what looked like 10 or so little poults with her walking the treeline. Unfortunately they were on the backside and I only saw them when they went past a few open gaps. They looked about the size of my fist.

That would mean they were just born recently correct? I hope I actually get some this year, but I haven't seen a poult on my land since 2012... Although I get the occasional Jake or Jenny through, so somewhere a poult or two is surviving nearby.

I've lived here 16+ years and never seen any but there are a lot of birds around here. Unfortunately I don't have a camera back there like I did. Will probably put it back out.

Come to think of it they were about quail size.

I didn't hear a gobble in the woods around my house all year. Use to have lots of birds around my house. I really had no hopes of turkeys around. 2 weeks ago I saw a hen in my back yard with 4 little ones. then last Thursday i was leaving and at the end of my street was 2 hens crossing over with 13 poults. 2 actually flew across the road to catch up with mamma. Exciting to see this!
