Powder question

I have reloaded several rifle cartridges in the past and always straight by the Lee manual. The loads listed are broad but I'm trying to fill in the blanks and use my existing powder stash efficiently. Questions are: Are imr4895 and imr4064 interchangeable? And are imr4064 and accurate4064 interchangeable? All for 300 win mag.

Just looked https://www.hodgdonreloading.com/reloading-data-center, on 155 grain projectiles the min and max loads are the same, but they are not the same for other weight projectiles.
That just about has to be an error. Might want to check around on that web site to see if an errata sheet was posted for that particular bullet weight. I've been reloading more than 40 years and I've never seen that before. Not saying it is impossible, just that I've never seen it before and why I believe it was a simple printing error.

Mistakes in the major brands of loading manuals are kind of rare, but they do happen. When I notice an errata sheet posted online, I'll print it out, fold it in half, and stick it in my copy of that given manual in the section for that caliber and bullet weight.

The Lee manual doesn't show a load for accurate 4064 for the 300 win mag, but shows the same charge for both imr 4064 and 4895, for 150 grain bullet. Looking at 3006 - all three loads are the same imr 4064, imr 4895 and accurate 4064 - this is why I asked whether they were all basically the same. Interestingly the manual shows a trail boss load for 300 winmag - 1300 fps. Not sure what that is intended for.

This is the hodgdon 2022 reloading manual. For 150 grain, shows min for both at 61.5 and max at 65.5. Mirrors what is on their site data from the link I posted before.

I was in error though on the bullets, it was for the 150 grain, and not 155 grain. The hodgdon manual does list other bullets with both powders, but with different min and max charges.

LOL Okay, I got you now. I misunderstood your previous post then. The way I read it was that you were saying the minimum charge weight and the maximum charge weight was the same for two different powders. Obviously that is not what you meant, but that's the way I read it.

All is good though and now I understand what you meant. I believe what you actually meant was that the minimum charge weight was the same for two different powders and the maximum charge weight was the same for those same two powders.

I'm loading 150s for both 300 mag and 3006. Trying to use the powders I have given every is hard to find - that's what was driving the inquiry

I'm a big fan of the simplicity of the Lee dippers as well hence the reference to the Lee manual. I dip and weigh periodically to check.
