What kindof targets is everone shooting at i bought a block and i am not that impressed with it cuase i am shooting 55lbs and a 26inch arrow with 100 grain tips up close at 25 yards i wont shoot thought it but if i get back at 35 to 40 then it blows. Right though it any advice on what else to buy
 
That whole senerio dont sound right?? stupid question but are you sure you are not missing the target? I never had any problems with a block
 
Block targets wear out quickly, especially if you shoot broadheads into them. The trick is to stick white tees in to the target and shoot at many different locations in the face. They wear out lightning quick if you shoot one spot.
 
I have never shot a target up close and the target stop the arrow then back up 20 more yards and get a pass thru. But yes get a blob target i hear great things about them
 
Get a blob like target. I've shot at mine anywhere from 5 to 100 yards. My arrow went through it when I tried the 100 yard shot..... :whistle:
 
The only thing i can figure out is that arrow is hitting it in a flatter angle but i took it back and got a different one and see if it does the same if it does then i am getting a blob

With a rifle? :grin: Mine didn't pass through at 100 yards. That might explain why it weighs a little bit more now.

No, with my bow! That there arrow was layin right behind the target. It had to have went through it cuz I don't miss.
