Salt and pepper. Some real butter to finish. Rest. If i add anything to that its garlic and onion and Braggs. Herbs of your choice.
This was salt and pepper with butter to finish.

Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper. If I'm cooking it in an iron skillet I add Kerrygold butter.

I admit that I'm typically a purist and just go with salt if anything. However, I frequently use Montreal Steak Seasoning and I also use a soak I got from a guy on another forum. It's simple.

2 Tbsp Olive oil
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tsp Montreal Seasoning
1 Tsp Espresso coffee

Tastes great on smoky, grilled stuff.

On a really good cut of meat, I'm mostly just salt/blackpepper finish with a pat or 2 of real butter. Lesser cuts Montreal steak seasoning or salt/garlic/blackpepper/onion powder.

Montreal steak seasoning, ribeye cooked via sous vide method, then finished on the grill. Brush with butter and allow to rest for 5 minutes or so

Sea salt
Black pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Tony Chachere's

No clue what the ratio is per, just do it by sight in the same little bowl every time. :D
