According to Sportstalk, Preston scored a 17 and then a 20. So a 3 point jump. Apparently 3 points is enough to automatically get red flagged by the clearinghouse. 17 to 20 isn't an absurd improvement to me.
You might check out your buddies on Volnation, they came up with 9. Jimmy Hyams reports: "The NCAA Clearinghouse red-flagged Williams' ACT score after a significant jump. His date to retake is expected to be set within 2 weeks." I wouldn't consider a 3 point jump on an ACT a "significant jump." Going up or down 3 points on an ACT probably happens all the time. I went up 4 points between a 6 month period taking the ACT.

Oh...So it came from UT_Tix79 then? Go to page 19 of the volnation thread posted and you will the following in reference to the score posted by UT_Tix79.
"The score came out of thin air from the Gator troll posing as a Vol fan"
If you look at UT_Tix79 post history, he typically posts about negative things that are happening with the TN program like ACT score, TN coach trying to trip someone, arrests/trouble, justifying calls that went against TN. He also posts as much about Floridas program as he does TN program but those things aren't of negative nature.
He used to live in Florida but now lives in Knoxville. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm.......

I hate to burst ya'lls bubble but you guys aren't very good detectives. I kind of feel sorry for the guy that some of you believe to be me... Lol
I'm senior member on Volnation and a Gator fan on there. I wouldn't hide behind a Vol username....
Here's your hint, last post on this page. A couple of members on here already knew who I was on Volnation... Might want to try a little harder next time...

I live in Knoxville, I've lived here since 1996, graduated from high school in Knoxville, married a UT alum class of 2001 who works at UT, have season tickets to UT and have for several years, and.
Only if I were 11 years younger in needed season tickets. I guess it's safe to assume that this guy might of been born in 79'.

It's funny how people can be banned and show back up. You are not as smart as you think you are. I don't have time for nonsense or have two accounts. I call it like it is on Volnation and TnDeer.
