I suspect this young buck experienced some sort of severe skull trauma:

What would yall do?

If your deer numbers are out of control, I would say yes. If your buck to doe ration is good, I would say yes. If your buck numbers are low and your overall deer number are ok, then I say leave him. He is still a buck and can spread his seed. Lots of things to consider other than just the fact that the youngster jacked up his skull. JMHO.

I have good deer numbers, good age structure, and good sex ratio on my place and I like to let these kind of deer get some age on them. They can really turn out some crazy racks.

Good question do you take it out if you get a chance?

He doesn't have a genetic problem, he just got his head bashed in by something, probably a car. But it doesn't seem to be bothering him, so he's free to roam.

If he survives long term (and I bet he doesn't, as he will be very susceptible to brain abcesses), he could grow a very interesting rack later in life.

Could it be a doe? I had a deer two years ago in bow range and though it was a big doe. It was big bodied but no horns. When it turned to walk away I saw his nackers hanging down. Never could pick him out again. He traveled with does and fawns.

Generally, antlered does grow "normal" shaped racks. I think this young buck just had his skull shattered at some point.
