thought this may be useful for folks looking at them.

I had an elite answer 12 model that i actually really liked but it was a tad heavy and i could never get super consistent with it (plus i like to mess with new stuff) so i sold it and bought an Obsession Sniper LT 60lb 29.5 draw

Draw - very smooth, compared to the Elite it had a tad more hump in the end before the valley but I would not say it was much of one. overall it goes back very smooth and drops into the valley great. I pulled it when i got it originally at 27.5 draw and it seemed a bit more smooth then when i had the mods changed. I am pulling at 61lbs and while it doesnt feel like I'm pulling all the weight it still takes a bit of effort.

Wall - same as elite...rock solid. once back it has the "have to push it forward" feel on it and doesn't seem like it will fly off if you creep forward.

Shot - TO ME it is more quite and less vibration then the elite i had. I am very impressed with the shot! I had nothing on the strings and it sounded very quite with not vibration or thud. great balance on it and easy to hold

Speed - i have not shot it through a chrono yet but it seems faster then my elite. will update it when i do that.

Grip - personally i like the grip and like the thin grip style of obsession and elite. Seems to fit me a tad better then the elite but i like both very much.

Finish - Fantastic, mine is black limbs and predator riser. is clean and seems very well done.

I am much more constant with grouping with this one compared to the answer (no knock on it, i was going to go back to elite if i didn't like this one).

overall so far It is my fav bow I've had and i have had more then a few over the years from Mathews, hoyt and bear to my last one being the Elite. Anyone looking at one i would say would be very happy with it!

LOL I was thinking the same thing...The Sniper ain't exactly their newest offering. I shot a couple of their bows at the Florida ASA and liked the Phoenix but I don't bow hunt anymore so I didn't really get all giddy about it.

i am fully aware its not in their "new" lineup but can be found used for a great price. I am not a fan of new designs they have on the 14 lineup but everyone likes different things.
