Looking to dive into reloading. Looks like fun, I got time on my hands and alllll my friends shoot. What brands should i be looking at and what brands should I shy away from? RCBS, Lee, Hornady, Dillon, I won't be running a business or anything, just restocking myself and maybe a friend or two.

Dillon will cost you more but I wouldn't trade my 550B for the others. That being said, all are good machines

I had to help my cousin order a Dillon for his grandson for Chrsitmas and I just happen to order a couple die sets for myself while I was at it. He has the press and everything else while I have my own dies so I know I'
ll be using it before lone.

People will laugh and say i'm lying but.. I bought a Lee Progressive press in 1986 to load 44 mags on.. no telling how many I have loaded with it.. plus no telling how many 38 specials, and 4 years ago I loaded 1000 .223's with it.. and its still going strong..

Love my Hornady progressive for pistol/5.56. I use a Lee single stage for everything else. All the others are also pretty good from what I hear. If you are just sarting, go with the Lee Anniversary kit, a set of pistol dies, and a good load book. Read the book before you do anything. Yes, I learned the hard way. That was 20 years ago. Just my $.02
