I know the proposed changes were supposed to be presented to the commission last week. I am specifically interested to know what changes were/are being considered for the counties surrounding the GSMNP. I hunt in Cocke County, and have heard rumors that hunting days will be moved from December to another time frame. I have specifically heard as early as August.
Can BGG or SCN elaborate on any specifics now that the commission meeting has taken place or direct me to information that is available to the public regarding black bear seasons? Thanks in advance for your help.
