Proud of my boy

This past Saturday morning my 9yr old boy connected on his first bird of the year, second one ever. He displayed patience of a seasoned hunter waiting on this bird to get in range. He is eaten up with turkey huntin as much as me and I love it. 9 3/4" beard, 1" Spurs

Although I haven't killed one yet my season is successful. I guided a wounded soldier the week prior to the youth hunt and he killed a Jake. He was wounded and thanked me for taking him hunting. Gets me every time I think about it.

That's more impressive and honorable of you than killing a truck bed full of turkeys. Great deed you did, my hat is off to you!
