My theory didn't work this year! I usually wait for a week or so then go hunt public land I've been scouting/hunting hard for a week ain't heard a single gobble and I haven't seen but two single hens. Been riding to yanahli before work in the mornings still ain't heard a bird!

Yanahli been hit hard, also the birds are not talking which does not help at all. Even here on private they ain't talking

Friday I had a bird gobbling @ 1 pm with a hen & a jake. First gobble I've heard in a week or so here.

As much as I hate the silence I like that it saves a few for next year on public land

Catman yanahli is like Walmart parking lot on weekends I was gonna run the river last Sunday but the rain brought the river way up! I just want to kill one bird this year your videos has got me wanting a wingbone call so I gotta kill me one!

I went out last night after work first two spots I went to had hunters in them all ready. Seems they have not given up. I went to a third spot that i have never had much luck at, but have seen a tom on occasion. I saw two hens and 25 deer or so... Guess I'll be checking that spot out closer to deer season.
