June is the fastest growing month for Tennessee deer so by the end of June I have mine out to start monitoring the bucks which by July 1st are nicely developed if there future racks are 8 pts or better. I usually freshen the licks up mid june and place them. Cant wait!!!

I keep one out year round now on a mineral block.

put one out this weekend got another to put out this coming weekend..... i usually don't put out till around july 4th but they are tearing my salt blocks up!
so i thought i would see what i have a little early.....

My new cameras have batteries that last a very long time compared to the older models. I would put out minerals/trophy rock now. they need it anyway.

how often do you guys check your cameras?
once a month to every 6 weeks or so. I enjoy checking them but I also know intrusion can change things. I'll also try to do it right before a rain

Spent some quality time with my son today putting our trail cameras back out and freshening up our salt licks. Now to wait and see what's out there for the upcoming season. TBH I have about as much fun checking the cameras as I do hunting

Never too early! This is the first year I have left mine out all year, and have learned a lot about how my deer use our property.
