Pyrodex vs. Triple 7??????

Triple Seven is a high energy product designed to provide higher velocities when used in the same VOLUME as blackpowder. To duplicate a blackpowder load velocity using Triple Seven, you must decrease the powder charge by 15%.

I found this about clean shot is that still around now ?? And why do you need an inline to use it. ???

Just bought a can of the pellets.
Alright, let's hear the good and the bad about them, it's going to be about 2 weeks before I get to the range.

Gonna use 2 50gr. pellets in my CVA .50 cal in-line, with 250gr. barnes MZ copper solid saboted bullet.

Let's hear it, gang!!

I haven't tried them yet. Be sure and let us know how they work.

David J;
I'll post results when I get to the range in 2 weeks.

By the way, I found the pellets at Harrison Sport Shop on 58 Highway across the street from the post office. $19.99+tax.

As long as you have an in-line you should be just fine...

I tried them last year & didn't have any problem whatsoever. The barrel is certainly easier to clean than with Pyrodex.

Here we go.
Pro's- They will be cleaner burning than Pyrodex pellets.

Con's- I heard alot of stories about patterns varying greatly when the pellets are packed with different pressure in the barrel each time you load. I've also heard that the pellets are VERY fragile and break very easily so you may get inconsistent patterns because of that. Finally, a few guys gave reports that when using more than one pellet, the 2nd or 3rd pellet left the barrel and actually ignited downrange.

Since you already have them, give them a shot. You never know what will work for you.
