I have used a QAD for several years and it is a great rest. No issues with accuracy or reliability whatsoever.

However, it is noisy. Anyone had any luck putting foam wrapping or anything else around the non moving parts of the rest?

Almost (almost) makes me want to put a biscuit on the bow.

Are you talking about where the launcher arm is hitting the shelf of the riser?

If so, what I've done in the past is get some of the soft insulation foam that has the adhesive on the back (like weather-stripping) and that is about 1/2" thick and cut a small section and put it on the riser and trim it down to about 1/4"-3/8".

Mine is not loud. I too am curious about what is causing the noise? Just overall vibration when you shoot or is there something specific?

I have added some soft neoprene foam on the riser. that did not seem to make a difference. Nothing loose on bow. Best I can tell the vibration is coming from the rest itself. Not loose or rattling, just noisy. I am still working on it before hunting season as I would like to be somewhat quieter.
