Maybe we can get a subforum started i dunno that will be up to ruger.

Id like to see something revolving around turkey management, habitat, nest raider killing, and poult recruitment.

Ill be in the process this fall of starting to set up more turkey friendly habitat on our place with a few more food plots and nesting habitat.

We also laid to rest around 50 nest raiders not including armadillos.

I like the idea. I bet it wouldn't get many views though, the regular turkey forum rarely gets viewed especially outside of turkey season.

I am not a member on Old Gobbler and never will be, but I think they have a Turkey Habitat management section with some info from Lovett Williams.

I like it also, there's a ton of little stuff you can do to really help them out and it benefits all critters as well

We plant wheat and clover in most of out fields and last year I diskedon't the edges and it grew up in native grasses. It was thick at the top but open for movement on the ground.

I haven't heard that, and didn't even know he was in bad shape, if he was. Hate to hear that, sad news.

By now it may have even been a few weeks ago.... I read about it but don't remember exactly what it was... but his death was illness related from what I do remember.

Good idea. I wonder if we posted over in the QDM forum there'd be more traffic? Some of the same practices apply. Or maybe the moderator can make us a QTM sticky at the top or something.

Anyhoo...good idea.
