Quality/Fair Priced Taxidermist in West TN Area

Southern Ridge Taxidermy in Toone, does some really good looking stuff, I think he charges $350
 
Burris in Moscow. First class work. Does full tan on hides versus dry tan. Virtually undetectable incision seams in the hide.

Good Morning fellow outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen, It has been a long time since I felt compelled to post here although I read the posts. Anyone from west TN area who does not know or has not heard, Darrin passed away Sunday from complications resulting from the Covid transfusion. I do not know anything more. He was 46 and good at his work. Thank you and God Bless.

Daniel's Rack Shack Taxidermy in South Fulton is very very good.
If you have facebook he has a page.

I don't remember what he charges for deer but I bet @rem270 can tell you.


Also the guy that did our specks and is doing Man's pheasant has some pretty impressive deer in his shop.
Beaverdam Taxidermy near Paris.
He also has a page on facebook.

Thank you for posting. I did not know of Darrin but this is sad news indeed. Gone too young.

I would 2nd his work. He is $400 for a shoulder mount, pedestal mount is a little more but don't remember that price but not a lot more. He has a FB page if you would like to check him out.

Thanks for posting. I saw his passing on Facebook and did not see any details. That is crazy.

Darrin was a good guy. Recently remarried with kids and seemed to be enjoying the dream. He did great work and did a euro on my son's buck a few years ago.

Prayers for their family. His brother just lost his wife a few years ago too.
 
I met Darrin only one time, in Brownsville. I noticed his truck at the convienance store and asked him about his business. He was VERY friendly and gave me some of the best background information I needed to get started from hobby to business over six years.
