I am going to try feathers on my arrows this year. The question i gave a couple of my arrows the feathers have seperated some.Does this affect the arrow flight at all?Just curious.

I have shot arrows with half of one feather completely gone and it still shot with the other arrows out to 40 yards. Feathers are very forgiving. If you're only seeing slight separation, you should be just fine.

Sounds good.Just wanted to make sure it would not create a problem. So far i love them.Seems to me i am shooting a tighter group than i was with plastic.

take a pan of water , bring it to a boil, hold the feather over the rising steam and presto the arrow heals it self if undamaged by tearing.

I've done that. I went one step further, too. After I got them straight and pretty with the steam, blew them dry with a hairdryer on low fan. It seemed to "set" them back like new.
