Ok so this is my fouth year to turkey hunt and I have just not had the turkeys I thougt I would on my land. I have 300+ acres withhard woods, creek bottoms, and a few different fields and one with two food plots, one with clover and one with wheat thats left over from the winter. I typically keep my cameras out the majority of the year off and on an really only ever see about one or two hens during the offseason and usually only have gobblers around about 1 week out of the hunting season. An when I mean gobblers I mean 2 tops. But the question is what can I do to improve my numbers? I feel like I have a good enviroment for them having plenty of creek bottom land and hard woods. Could it be a have a bad predator problem? or would that even effect my numbers that much? Any suggestions or help is appreciated. Thanks.
