questions on carbon shafts and rage broadheads

I've held out using alum shaft til now but broke down and bought 4 carbon just to play with. I really like the way they shoot.

my question is, they fall out of my quivers (2). Is there such a thing as one that only works for aluminum and I need to buy a new one? The quiver came with my hoyt, it's a 2001.

Now for the rage broadheads.... every time I try to put them into the quiver they "pop" open and the blades extend. Is there a trick to putting them in and having them ready to go when you pull the out?

Just need a new quiver and the rage broad heads are notorious for coming open. Just click the blades back in b4 you nock your arrow.

My rage broadheads stay open in my quiver. It's just one of those things.

Sounds like you need a new quiver that will fit the smaller diameter shafts.

Welcome to the next century roy, just got here myself. Big learning curve this year for me: new bow, new arrows and new broad heads that look like switch blades. Man it sure is neat how far the sport has come in 15yrs.

They make quivers that have smaller grabbers for the carbon arrows. As for the rages coming open you need a quiver that holds the arrow in two places and the broadhead doesnt touch anything.

sounds like I'll just have to go spend a little money on a new quiver, I hate that......
