quick fix the rattle pump guns

I seen in another post about the mossberg making rattle noise. I put a rubber o-ring over my magazine tube so the forend would seat against it when the action is closed. It solved the problem for me. Thought I would pass along this idea of a cheap cure and help stop sounding like a parade of horses on asphalt while your hunting.

Those "rattles" were part of the reason I've used a side-by-side for most of my turkey hunting over the years.

But the best way to fix the "rattles" of a pump gun is to simply replace it with an automatic.
 
Well I enjoy that rattle. It kind of reminds me I am talking to a good ole friend. :)
