Last year I put in for LBL and got a preference point. This year, I didn't even bother putting in, because with 2 jobs I will be hunting close by whenever I can, and will be happy if I kill my 4 birds.

You should have at least put in for another preference point. That way you'd be assured of getting drawn when you do decide toapply for an LBL hunt. And they don't draw until the 18th.

I have hunted and been successful on SF before, but kind of dreading this one to be honest. It takes a lot of effort to hunt in that nasty swamp.

Congrats Poser. We'll be there for the same hunt. How many points did you have?? Looks like you drew your first choice?

If you log back in Poser, it shows how many points you had going into the draw. It is located right below "TWRA ID and Customer Name".

Same here, and I'm a little confused about the whole Upper Obion River Complex thing. I hunted most of the WMA units that are included in the "complex" when I was in college. There are a bunch of acres included. Are these units (Obion River WMA, Gooch WMA, Mannesss, Hop in, Bean Switch, etc) now quota only or will people be hunting them during the regular season as well? Anybody know? I do know that this hunt isn't a bonus bird like quotas have been in the past.

I just posted that very question in the ask TWRA FORUM Was told to call mr hamilton at region 1 office so that's my next step i assume
