Rage 2 blade Q

Took a deer early in bow season with the rage. When I was taking the blades off the frame I noticed the top blade had a screw but the two bottom blades had a pin that had to be pushed out.

Do I have a older model set or this the norm? Seems it would make more sence to use allen screws on both top and bottom.

No i just screw on a new one.

nice...if ya got bucks to keep doing it. but sence they make replacement blades, you do the math.

You dont' have an older model that is the way it's done.. Pain in the ass isn't it

They actually used to make them with allen heads holding the blade in. Then they "improved" them.

What an "improvement"! thanks bob and southern for the helpful info.

I had to take a 2x4 and drill a hole to make a jig to punch out the pin. The deer I took was shot in a plowed field so the head is in great shape.
