Rage broadheads

Anyone used them? I just got some they seem pretty dull to me. any input?
you are going to get alot of different opinions on this subject but here is my 2 cents worth. I tried rage and a few other mechanicals a few years back. If I was going to use mech. again, it would be Rage's. Even though I had a bad experience once with them. I now use strictly G5 montecs. haven't had a bad day at all with them. As matter of fact I have harvested 6 deer wtih the same broadhead. Thats one out of a pack of three. Those are pretty good odds if you ask me. So, There you have it.

I use them and have not had a deer go over 30 yards after the shot since. They do alot of damage and produce a heck of a blood trail. The only thing I don't like is that they are not ver durable.

Zorro couldnt do any better!

I'll be taking them along for the first time this year. I got them mainly because I was in the mood to try something new.

They'll be in my quiver this year. I've seen the damage they can do first hand. My only fear is them opening in flight. I don't care how durable they are. They only have to do the job once in my book.

when i was shooting rages about every 3rd or 4th arrow would hit a foot low... Im assuming this was happening due to opening in flight.

I didnt really care enough to try and figure it out, i just knew that i didnt want none of it and swapped broadheads.

Did they leave an awesome entrance and exit?? yes

I also lost a deer that i made an ethical 30 yd quartering away shot on. I tracked her for about a half mile on a huge blood trail before it dried up.

Just another broadhead. nothing special.

Ok well I do respect your opinion, and I really don't have a valid opinion other than what I have seen(that's soon to change) But I don't see how you can blame a broadhead for losing your deer. If you had a "huge blood trail" then the broadhead did it's job. Sounds like you didn't hit her where you thought. I know , I know...you saw exactly where the arrow hit and it was dead on..... I don't buy the whole "broadhead failed" excuse when deer aren't recovered. While I do respect your opinion I just hate to see hunters blame broadheads for lost game when there is no telling what really happend. I lost a deer last year using a very similar broadhead. Hit looked good had some blood, but I just couldn't find the deer. I don't know if it was the broadhead or what, but that isn't going to be my first excuse.

I will use them but they are not my first choice.
They are not very durable and the blades coming open in the quiver and on the bow about drove me crazy!

...Like most expanding heads one shot.Killed 4 deer 2 yrs.ago, went back to Rocket Sidwinders.Cheaper in price not
quality, one shot and ferrule or blades brake after pass through.
This will make you think about a strong fixed blade head
to hunt with sometimes. Then again 1 1/2 cut give a little
more good old redgold to follow to down animal!
