Shot my first deer of this season with a new rage broadhead. I must say that I was impressed with the blood trail. It was one that even I could follow, and I am colored blind. The shot was slightly quartering to me and glanced the back of the shoulder blade and out the last rib on the opposite side. I could see the blood coming out as the deer ran back into the woods about 30 yards in front of me. I could see blood all over the leaves with my binoculars from up in my treestand. She still made it about 80 yards though. The broadhead did sustain damage as it glanced the shoulder blade, both blades on the broadhead were bent. So I give a thumbs up for a great blood trail and a thumbs down for durability.
